Developmental Coordination Disorder is thought to affect 5 to 6 percent of school-aged children and is a co-morbidity for half of the children with ADHD.  The numbers for adults with DCD are less certain but are considered significant.  Despite these staggering numbers, DCD remains relatively unknown in the United States - and among our clients.  This session seeks to pique your interest in DCD so that you and your clients will learn more.  Understanding DCD and how it intersects with other conditions can enable clients to understand themselves better and obtain more accurate treatment and other interventions.  Come with your curiosity and questions . . . there is much to explore here.
