ICD® Affiliates

IFPOAICD® is honored to be a co-founder and continuing member of the International Federation of Professional Organizing Associations, a worldwide forum facilitating appropriate communication and collaborative efforts among professional organizing associations.

Its purpose is to elevate the reputation, visibility and professionalism of the organizing industry worldwide through, among other things, the sharing of information among Federation members. 

ICD® has been affiliated with IFPOA since 2007. As of May 2018, members include organizations from Brazil, Canada, Japan, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Republic of Korea, and the United States.

The Italian Association of Professional Organizers was founded in October, 2013 by Sabrina Toscani, Irene Novello e Silva Bucci.

APOI associates professionals working in the professional organizing sector, they exercise the activity aimed at providing services in order to stimulate organizational skills assisting people in finding their own balance and restoring order by maximizing their resources.

APOI promote the use of tools, actions and organizational methods and the transfer of organizational skills, so that people and organizations, through effective systems and processes, can enjoy the best of an improved organizational capacity and a higher level of productivity and efficiency in any scope.

APDO

Affiliated since 2019

APDO is a not-for-profit association based in the United Kingdom, funded entirely by membership fees and income generated through activities including their training programmes and sponsorship. Much of the organisation’s work is performed by members on a voluntary basis, and the Board is made up entirely of APDO professional organisers.

APDO offers training, mentoring, networking and promotion opportunities to members and supports them to develop and grow their businesses. It also hosts an annual conference which is open to members and anyone interested in decluttering and organising.

 The mission of the International OCD Foundation is to help those affected by obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)  and related disorders to live full and productive lives. Our aim is to increase access to effective treatment through research and training, foster a hopeful and supportive community for those affected by OCD and the professionals who treat them, and fight stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Our vision: “For easier, more comfortable lives”. We support our clients to improve their living space by providing solutions for an organized life, but not by the approach of starting off to dispose clutters.  By establishing Life Organizers® as a professional career in Japan, we believe that it will bring the people in Japan a higher level of happiness.

Our Objectives: The Japan Association of Life Organizers was founded in order to contribute to the people in Japan to improve their social lives healthier as well as to create better and higher quality of living spaces, mainly for residential.  To reach the goal, we strive to educate the public in Japan to familiarize with the concept of “Organizing”, such as for living space, lifestyles, careers, human lives, and anything that can be effectively prepared, planned and organized.  The organizing concept is already familiar in the U.S. We also focus on providing educational and training programs for professional Life Organizers® as well as researching further on organizing methods and strategies.

Japan Association of Life Organizers (JALO) was founded on December 1, 2008.

The National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals™ (NAPO®) has approximately 3,500 members dedicated to helping people and organizations bring order and efficiency to their lives.

NAPO’s mission is to be the leading source for organizing and productivity professionals by providing exceptional education, enhancing business connections, advancing industry research, and increasing public awareness.

The Dutch Professional Association of Professional Organizers (NBPO) was founded on 28 August 1997. The NBPO is a growing and dynamic association with members who each have their own specializations (fields of activity). 

The NBPO organizes a three-day training professional organizing four times a year. It is for everyone who wants to become a Professional Organizer. The training is provided by professional and experienced (colleague) trainers. In the training all important aspects of the course and entrepreneurship are discussed.

Professional Organizers in Canada (POC) is the national association that represents professional organizers across the country. We provide a supportive environment for our members to share ideas, network and exchange referrals.

Our Members: POC members are organizing professionals from all sectors of the industry, including residential and office organizers, time management and goal setting professionals, estate organizing experts and many, many more.

Our Reach: POC currently represents over 600 members in more than 14 chapters across Canada.
