HRD-550 Motivation for Hoarding Disorder Intervention

This class will disseminate information on the latest, evidence-based techniques for motivating individuals with clutter and hoarding behavior to change problematic saving and acquiring tendencies. In particular, techniques drawn from Family-As-Motivators (FAM) Training for hoarding will be discussed. These techniques include communication approaches, harm reduction, and accommodation prevention.
