Sue and Carole will provide an overview of the cause and the three main components of dyslexia, the implications for learners and their families.  They will outline the steps that can overcome the challenges, including self-regulation tools, a method for clearing confusion, and a method for bringing about understanding for non-picture/sight words that are currently meaningless.  Organizational skills depend on conceptual understanding, which is meaningless to a three-dimensional, picture thinker. When the three components are addressed, a dyslexic can achieve their goal, whether it be reading, writing, math, paying attention, or creating order in their lives.
